Variety description

The bush has a semi-spreading habit and medium crown width. The variety requires 400 to 450 chill hours at temperatures below 7°C, possesses a high ability for leaf development after mild winters, and needs protection from spring frosts.

The berries have a weight of 2.2–2.8 g and a light blue color. Due to high fruit firmness, the variety is suitable for mechanical harvesting, although hand picking is recommended in the initial stages. The fruits are intended primarily for the fresh market.

The variety is self-fertile, but cross-pollination contributes to an increase in berry size and yield. Suziblue is adapted for regions with warm climates and does not possess the cold hardiness required for cultivation in conditions of harsh winters.
