The breeding sample belongs to the southern highbush blueberry group. The plant is characterized by low pollen shedding intensity, which distinguishes it from the descendant variety Scintilla, which is an effective pollinator.

The berries of the sample, in terms of quality indicators, including size and sugar content level, are inferior to the fruits of the Scintilla variety. In breeding documentation, this sample is often cited as a reference for comparative analysis of characteristics within research programs.
