Variety description

The variety is a pentaploid (5X) interspecific hybrid obtained by crossing Bluechip and NC1827. The bush has a semi-erect habit and reaches a height of 1.2–1.8 meters. The chill hour requirement is 800–1000 hours.

The berries are medium to large in size, light blue in color, and have a sweet taste and good transportability. A unique feature is the presence of less than one fully developed seed per berry. The variety requires cross-pollination with Rabbiteye-type varieties or highbush blueberry hybrids.

The plant has a broad adaptation to soil types. The variety is susceptible to Phytophthora root rot and blueberry red ringspot virus. Well-drained soils are required.
