The variety is a hybrid obtained in Finland involving the species Vaccinium corymbosum, Vaccinium angustifolium and sometimes Vaccinium uliginosum; in a number of descriptions it is indicated as a combination of Brunswick × June. The bush is compact, strong, with erect shoots, reaching a height of about 80 cm, and up to 1.5 m in certain conditions.

The plant possesses high frost resistance, tolerating temperatures down to -30...-35 °C. The variety is self-fertile, but cross-pollination contributes to an increase in berry size. Fruits are medium-sized, about 1–1.5 cm, dark blue in color, with an intense sweet-sour taste, and ripen in several harvests during the season.
