The Bolgar grape is a classic table variety of the species Vitis vinifera L. This name often refers to the Karaburnu variety (synonyms: Afuz Ali, Regina, Rozaki, Dattier de Beyrouth, Aleppo). There are breeding forms such as "Bolgar klon 14" and "Superran Bolgar".

The variety belongs to the mid-ripening maturity group, while the "Bolgar 14" clone belongs to the late-ripening group. The bushes are vigorous. The clusters are large, weighing 300–500 g, cylindro-conical or conical in shape, and moderately loose. The berries are large, oval or elongated, yellow-green or golden in color. The skin is firm; the pulp is fleshy and juicy.

The variety has low winter hardiness (down to -15...-18°C) and low resistance to fungal diseases, including downy mildew and powdery mildew. Sugar accumulation is 14–17%. The harvest is distinguished by good transportability and the ability to remain on the bushes for a long time.
