The variety belongs to the ecological-geographical group of Black Sea basin varieties. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth and is a late-ripening variety: berry ripening occurs at the end of September to early October. Despite the pink-purple skin color, the variety is classified as white for winemaking purposes and can also be consumed fresh.

Bunches are medium-sized, cylindrical-conical, of moderate or high density. Berries are medium-sized, round, with elastic skin of medium thickness covered with small dark dots. Wines from this variety have moderate acidity and an aromatic profile with notes of quince, honey, rose, and herbs.

The variety has increased resistance to phylloxera and is considered one of the most frost-resistant among Bulgarian varieties. At the same time, it is susceptible to downy mildew and powdery mildew, especially in humid conditions, and can be affected by gray mold during a cold and humid autumn.
