Variety description

The variety was obtained by crossing Alphonse Lavallée and Red Malaga. The plant is characterized by vigorous vine growth, the yield ripens in September. Clusters are large, pyramidal or conical in shape, weighing from 600 to 1000 g. Berries are large, oval or oblong in shape, dark blue or violet-black in color with a waxy bloom and firm flesh.

The variety is sensitive to low temperatures (down to −19 °C). It possesses medium resistance to diseases, is susceptible to downy mildew and powdery mildew, but is practically resistant to grey mold. It is intended for fresh consumption, suitable for cultivation on trellises and pergolas. Incompatibility with rootstocks 140Ru, 779P, Kober 5BB, and 161-49 is noted.
