The interspecific hybrid was obtained as a result of crossing the variety Merlot and the hybrid Kozma 20-3. The genetic basis of the plant includes genes of Vitis vinifera, Vitis amurensis, Vitis rupestris, and Vitis berlandieri. The shoots of the variety are characterized by medium vigor.

The bunches are of medium size, conical in shape, loose, and often have a wing. The berries are small, elliptical, with a thick blue-black skin. The leaves resemble those of the Merlot variety.

The variety is intended for the creation of single-varietal wines or blends. Wine made from this grape is distinguished by an intense ruby color, a soft rounded taste, and aromas of ripe red fruits, spices, cocoa, and figs. The use of this variety allows for a significant reduction in the number of pesticide applications.
