Variety description

The variety is a natural hybrid that emerged from the crossing of the Merlot and Folle blanche varieties. The plant is characterized by high vigor and good productivity. The leaves are medium to large in size, five-lobed, deeply incised, with an open lyre-shaped petiolar sinus.
The bunches are medium-sized, cylindrical in shape, with white berries. The variety belongs to the mid-ripening category. Currently, planting areas are extremely limited; the variety is occasionally used in wine blends of the Bordeaux region.
