Variety description

The variety has a medium ripening period, which occurs three weeks after the Chasselas variety. The vine has an upright growth habit, and short pruning is recommended for it. The leaf is pentagonal, five-lobed, deeply dissected, with medium density pubescence on the underside.

Clusters are medium or large in size, conical in shape, and of moderate density. The berries are also medium or large in size, oval, dark blue in color with a waxy bloom, thin skin, and juicy, fleshy pulp. The variety is high-yielding, however, it is susceptible to grey mold and leafhoppers, as well as prone to coulure and millerandage.
