The variety was bred as a result of breeding work that began in 1974 at the station in Velky Krtis. The plant is adapted to the climatic conditions of Slovakia.
The variety is used for the production of winemaking products, including still white wines and sparkling wines (sekts), which are distinguished by a specific aromatic profile.
