The variety is a vigorous and energetic plant requiring short pruning and tying. Young shoots have medium pubescence, leaves are yellowish with a bronze tint. Mature leaves are matte, wedge-shaped, entire or five-lobed. Clusters are medium-sized, berries are large, oval.
The variety possesses good drought tolerance and adaptability to low-fertility soils. Sensitivity to flavescence dorée is noted, along with moderate susceptibility to powdery mildew and high susceptibility to grey mold.
Wines from this variety are characterized by good structure, aging potential of 5 to 10 years, and an aromatic profile with notes of berries, spices, licorice, wood, and balsamic nuances.
