Variety description

The variety is the result of a cross between Teroldego and Merzling, carried out in 1994. The plant is characterized by relatively weak vigor and belongs to the group of varieties with increased resistance to fungal diseases, in particular downy mildew and powdery mildew.
The clusters have a conical shape, often with wings, and their weight is 250–350 g. The berries are spherical, small, dark blue in color with medium-density bloom. Harvesting is carried out in the second ten-day period of September. Wines from this variety are characterized by a fruit profile with aromas of violet and red fruits.
