The variety has Spanish roots and is a natural hybrid of the Listán Blanco variety and an unknown parent. Genetically identical to the Mollar Cano variety. The bush has a bisexual flower, leaves are wedge-shaped, smooth, medium-dissected, without pubescence on the underside.
Clusters are medium-sized, cylindro-conical, of medium density. Berries are dark purple, small or medium, round or oval in shape, covered with a waxy bloom. The berry skin is of medium thickness.
The variety is adapted to a hot and windy climate and is drought-tolerant. Resistance to downy mildew is assessed as low or medium. Yield depends on growing conditions. Wines are characterized by soft tannins and pronounced fruit notes of red berries.
