The vine has medium vigor. The leaf is medium-sized, five-lobed, deeply dissected, with pronounced bristly-cobwebby pubescence on the underside. The flower is hermaphroditic. The bunch is medium-sized, cylindrical-conical in shape, of medium density. Berries are medium, round, purple in color with an abundant waxy bloom.

The variety is considered fickle and sensitive to soil and climatic conditions, which complicates its cultivation. It is used exclusively for the production of high-quality dry wines, characterized by high acidity, pronounced tannins, and great aging potential.
