The variety VDG001 (known as Pixie Riesling) is the result of hybridization between the dwarf variety Pixie and the variety Riesling. The plant reaches a height of 45–60 cm and is intended for cultivation in pots or in small areas under urban viticulture conditions.
The leaves are light or medium green in color, with reddish petioles, round shape with three lobes, and a smooth surface. The berries are small, about 1.7 g, round in shape, with soft flesh and a mild taste. The variety is characterized by continuous fruiting.
