Variety description

The variety is genetically a descendant of the Traminer variety and the rare Sankt Georgen variety. The vines are characterized by high vigor. The leaves are medium-sized, five-lobed or three-lobed, and deeply dissected.

The bunches are medium or large in size, cylindrical, dense, and often winged. The berries are medium-sized, round, green-yellow in color, sometimes with brown spots or a blush on the sun-exposed side.

The variety has good winter hardiness but is susceptible to powdery mildew. Its wines are characterized by aromas of green apple, pear, citrus, and herbs, and can range from light to complex, with aging potential.
