The variety has low vigor and is characterized as early-to-mid-season. The clusters are small or medium, compact, and have a very short peduncle. The berries are medium-sized, round or elliptical, with thick, yellowish-green skin.

The plant tolerates heat and drought well and shows resistance to phylloxera under certain conditions, yet it is highly susceptible to powdery mildew. The variety is intended exclusively for wine production, allowing for the creation of both fresh wines and versions aged in oak barrels.
