The variety is the result of crossing the St. Laurent and Blaufränkisch varieties. The bushes are vigorous or above-average in vigor. The leaf is rounded or pentagonal, three- or five-lobed. The cluster is medium-sized, cylindrical or cylindrical-conical in shape, often with wings, of medium density, which ensures good aeration.

The berries are medium-sized, rounded, dark blue, almost black in color with a thick waxy bloom. The variety is characterized by high and stable yield, requiring crop load management to obtain high-quality raw materials. Wines made from it possess a rich fruity taste with notes of cherry, spices, and raspberry.
