Variety description

The plant forms large fleshy tubers. The spathes have a deep dark burgundy-purple color, tending toward a black shade in cool conditions and bright lighting. The pale yellow spadix has a light fragrance, and the glossy arrowhead-shaped leaves are decorated with prominent white spots.

The variety has resistance to root rot Phytophthora parasitica. For annual flowering, the plant requires a mandatory dormancy period of 8–10 weeks. Bush height is usually from 40 to 50 cm; the crop is suitable for growing in pots and for use as cut flowers.
