Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Zantedeschia elliottiana and Zantedeschia rehmannii. The plant reaches a height of up to 90 cm. The leaves are green and have light or white spots characteristic of the species.

The flowers are fiery red or orange-red spathes with a pale greenish margin and a yellow spadix; they have no scent. The variety belongs to the summer-flowering group and is used as an ornamental plant for gardens and floristic cut flowers.

The plant is less winter hardy compared to Zantedeschia aethiopica; it requires tuber lifting for the winter in regions with cold climates (hardiness zone 8 and above). It prefers full sun or light shade and well-drained, moist soils.
