The hybrid forms plants about 260 cm tall with ear placement at 100–110 cm. The grain is of the flint-dent type, the ear contains 16 rows with 32 grains each, and the thousand kernel weight is about 306 g.
The plant is noted for rapid early growth and a content of "slow" starch. The hybrid shows high resistance to Fusarium ear rot, Ustilago maydis, and Helminthosporium.
The yield potential of the crop reaches 136–140 c/ha. The recommended sowing density varies from 80–85 thousand plants per hectare in arid conditions to 85–90 thousand plants per hectare in zones with sufficient moisture.
