A group of viral diseases of zucchini that causes deformation of vegetative organs and fruits, as well as a significant reduction in yield. The main pathogens are Zucchini yellow mosaic virus, Cucumber mosaic virus, and Watermelon mosaic virus.

The main pathogens causing mosaic in zucchini are Zucchini yellow mosaic virus (ZYMV), Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), and Watermelon mosaic virus (WMV). Infections by ZTMV, ZSSV, and Bean yellow mosaic virus also occur, primarily transmitted by insect vectors.

The clinical presentation manifests as chlorotic mottling, vein clearing, blistering, and deformation of the leaf blade. Characteristic symptoms appear on the fruits: severe knobbiness, longitudinal cracking, and discoloration in the form of spots or stripes, while the entire plant shows significant growth retardation.
