Depending on varietal characteristics, the height varies from dwarf forms of 20–45 cm to tall specimens reaching 1.2–1.8 m. This indicator directly determines agronomic decisions: from the choice of planting site and plant spacing patterns to the need for installing supports to protect long flower stalks from lodging and wind damage.
