Variety description

The plant forms a dense carpet up to 10–20 cm in height. The thick, rounded leaves possess a metallic luster; young shoots and leaves have a saturated pink or dark burgundy hue, contrasting with the main grey-green mass.

Flowering occurs from March to May with short, upright spike-like inflorescences featuring blue tubular flowers. The variety is characterized by vigorous growth, increased tolerance to high temperatures and light exposure, as well as resistance to powdery mildew.

Used in landscape design as a ground cover crop for decorating alpine gardens, rock gardens, and for cultivation in containers.
