The plant is a low-growing groundcover with creeping stoloniferous stems. The leaves are oval or obovate in shape, with a slightly wrinkled surface and a wavy margin. Foliage color may vary depending on light intensity: it tends to turn green in low light conditions.

Flowers are gathered in spike-like inflorescences. The variety prefers moist, humus-rich soils and is well-suited for shady and semi-shady areas, including mixed borders and container gardening. The plant is characterized by being low-maintenance and having high frost resistance, corresponding to hardiness zone 3.
