Variety description

The variety forms elongated bulbs weighing 50–70 grams, covered with copper or copper-red scales, with pink or violet-pink flesh. From 5 to 8 bulbs are formed in one cluster. The plant height is 30–40 cm.

The plant is resistant to bolting; modern forms are free from onion yellow dwarf virus. The taste of the bulbs is mild and sweet, without pronounced bitterness. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and cooking, and is grown vegetatively.
