Variety description

The variety belongs to the 'Jersey' type pink shallot group. Ripening periods vary from mid-season to late depending on growing conditions. The bulbs have a slightly elongated, pear-shaped, or semicircular shape with dark copper-colored scales and pinkish-white or purple flesh.

5 to 8 bulbs are formed in a cluster; the variety is not prone to bolting. The plant possesses resistance to downy mildew and Botrytis. The bulbs are characterized by high dry matter content, a sweet taste, and high keeping quality during storage.

The variety was obtained as a result of selecting forms free from the OYDV virus. It is intended for cultivation in the open field for both private gardening and commercial production.
