The variety belongs to the long shallot types. The bulbs have copper-pink skin and purple-pink flesh. This type of shallot is intended for vegetative propagation using planting bulbs.

The variety has a mid-season maturity, good yield potential, and high storage capacity. During the breeding process, the variety was developed to be free from onion yellow dwarf virus. Planting is carried out mainly in spring, although autumn planting is possible in a number of regions.
