The variety forms a cluster of bulbs, which allows for phased harvesting during the growth process for fresh consumption. The outer scales of the bulbs are golden-brown in color.

When planting, a depth of 2 cm is recommended, with the top of the bulb remaining above the soil surface. The variety prefers sunny, moist, and well-drained sites. The Agricultural Institute of Slovenia conducts work on maintaining and improving the health of planting material using tissue culture methods.
