The variety forms round bulbs covered in dry, copper-colored scales. The inner flesh of the bulbs is white or pinkish in color, and the taste is characterized as pronounced and aromatic. The plant possesses high general disease resistance.

The variety is late-maturing and valued for its excellent keeping quality. When storage rules are followed, the marketability of the bulbs is maintained until June.
