The variety is a regional population of folk selection. The plant has medium-length green leaves. It forms round or round-high bulbs and is traditionally grown in a biennial cycle or from sets.

The variety is distinguished by good storage capacity and high productivity. Due to its composition characteristics, it is used as a table variety and is of interest for industrial dehydration. In scientific research, it has been used for in vitro micropropagation and the production of doubled haploids.
