The variety forms small, flat, round or disc-shaped bulbs with a diameter of 5–7 cm. The outer scales have a shiny silvery-white color, the flesh is white, juicy and tender. The plant is characterized by a leaf height of 20–30 cm.
The variety belongs to the long-day type and is a non-hybrid population. The storage period of the bulbs is limited and ranges from 3 to 5 months. The bulbs are suitable for braiding.
In regions with a mild climate, sowing is possible in late summer or autumn to obtain an early spring harvest; in cold climate conditions, it is grown as a spring crop. Used for salads, grilling, caramelization, and pickling whole.
