The variety Pepita F1 (breeding number GNP 61008) is a mid-late long-day yellow onion hybrid. The plant is characterized by high growth vigor and good phytosanitary resistance of the semi-erect foliage.
The bulbs have a spherical shape of medium or large size. The surface is covered with numerous thick, tightly adhering dry scales of dark bronze color, which simplifies mechanical processing of the produce. The variety is distinguished by high flesh firmness and is suitable for long-term storage; it is recommended for sowing in late winter or early spring.
