The plant forms a long, thin stem of a blue-green color. The variety is productive; when grown in conditions that do not meet photoperiod requirements, it practically does not form a bulb, concentrating instead on intensive vegetative growth.
In agronomic literature, this variety is classified as a bunching onion. Its use is oriented toward the production of green stalks, and attempts to grow it as a bulb onion to obtain a dry bulb are ineffective.
