The variety forms a large white stem 50–60 cm in length, which may be slightly thickened at the base. The leaves are dark green. Compared to the variety «Gigante d'Inverno», this variety has a shorter length but possesses a larger stem diameter.
The plant is noted for high resistance to low temperatures and lodging. The variety is intended for marketable produce and can be used for cultivation as baby leek.
