The variety is late-maturing, with a maturation period of approximately 125 days. The plant forms straight blanched stems 150–180 mm long without a pronounced bulb at the base and has dark green leaves. It is an heirloom variety, which allows for self-saving of seeds.
It is distinguished by high winter hardiness, withstanding frosts down to -18°C, which allows it to be left in the ground for the entire winter. Due to late bolting in the spring, the plant retains its tender texture longer and does not become fibrous, maintaining suitability for culinary use.
The variety is listed in the national registry — its seeds are authorized for sale in this country.
