The hybrid Kenton F1 belongs to winter leek varieties. The plant has an upright habit and dark green leaf color. The content of total phenolic compounds in the green leaves of this variety is higher than in the white part of the plant, called the shaft.

The variety is susceptible to the bacterial disease Pseudomonas syringae pv. porri. Information about the variety is found in scientific papers devoted to the study of the biochemical composition of leeks and the study of the rhizosphere.
