The plant is vigorous, upright, reaching a height of 60–80 cm. The foliage has a dark green or blue-green shade; the pseudostem is white and uniformly cylindrical. The variety is a product of folk selection, intended for summer-autumn and winter cultivation.
Sowing is recommended from March to May or from January to July. The optimal planting pattern assumes a distance of 5–15 cm between plants in a row and 30–50 cm between rows.
