The variety belongs to the mid-season (autumn) leek types. The plants have the ability to withstand sub-zero temperatures down to –17°C, which allows them to be left in the soil until January in regions with mild winters and to be harvested as needed.

Morphologically, the variety forms cylindrical or slightly thickened in the lower part false stems, the length of which is 15–25 cm.
