The Avorio variety is the result of breeding closely linked to the Veneto region in Italy. The bulbs have a compact structure, a regular rounded shape with slight flattening at the base and bright white scales without colored veins. The number of cloves per bulb ranges from 2 to 6.
The plant belongs to the mid-late maturity group. The variety is intended for the production of marketable dry garlic, characterized by high keeping quality and a specific aromatic profile with notes of freshly cut grass and sweetish undertones. In the climatic conditions of Italy, sowing is practiced in the period from October to March.
