The leaves of the Norda variety are narrow and long, with a bright green color. The root widens towards the upper part, resembling a parsnip in shape; the surface has a yellowish-white color. The yield of the variety is 10–12 tons per hectare.
The taste of the horseradish is sharp, without pronounced bitterness. The allyl isothiocyanate content varies from low to medium depending on cultivation conditions. With excessive nitrogen fertilizer application or the use of fresh manure, the root flesh is prone to browning.
The variety possesses high resistance to major leaf diseases, including Cercospora leaf spot and white rust, with plants in some cases remaining completely free of Albugo candida infection.
