The variety was obtained by clonal selection from local populations in the Hajdú-Bihar region. The plant forms robust lanceolate leaves with a light, wide vein. The rhizomes are prone to uniform thickening, have a slightly bronze-brown skin color, and a pronounced tendency to form lateral roots and shoots in the root collar area.
The produce is distinguished by a high content of allyl isothiocyanate. The yield is 8–11 tons per hectare. Regarding diseases, the variety demonstrates resistance to internal browning rot, however, it is classified as highly susceptible to white rust infection.
