The variety forms large, cylindrical rhizomes with a white surface and flesh. The plant is distinguished by large, thick, blistered, deep green leaves positioned vertically.

The yield of the variety is 9–11 tons per hectare. The taste qualities are characterized by strong pungency, and the vitamin C content exceeds 100 mg/100 g. The variety shows resistance to white rust (Albugo candida).
