The deciduous shrub is characterized by a cushion-shaped, spreading crown form. The height of an adult plant varies from 50 cm to 1 m, while the crown width can reach 1.5–2 m.

In summer, the leaves have a light green color, and with the onset of autumn, they acquire yellow-orange or reddish tones. The variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness, drought tolerance, and good adaptation to urban conditions. The plant is resistant to major diseases and pests and is used for creating borders and hedges.
