The variety is a diploid fertile multigerm type of table beet, presented as the first Bulgarian variety of this crop. There are breeding lines designated as Radost 1 and Radost 3.
The variety possesses high nutritional value indicators of the root crops, including a high concentration of crude protein, nitrogen, and phosphorus in the dry matter. In scientific publications, the variety is often used as a control object when conducting comparative field experiments.
