The Red Dawn F1 hybrid matures approximately 60 days after sowing. The root crops have a uniform round shape and small size. The flesh is dark red, without internal rings, and the sugar content is 12–15% on the Brix scale.
The plant forms an upright rosette of bright green leaves about 25 cm tall. The variety has high resistance to bolting and Cercospora leaf spot, as well as tolerance to Rhizoctonia rot and stressful drought conditions, maintaining quality during prolonged field standing.
