The plant forms large, slightly wrinkled or crinkled leaves of dark green color with a silvery shade on the underside. A characteristic feature is the robust, fleshy petioles of snow-white or light green color.

The vegetation period ranges from 30–45 to 50–60 days after sowing. The variety possesses cold hardiness, tolerates short-term frosts down to –3°C…–6°C, and has high resistance to premature bolting.

The variety is intended for cultivation in the open field via seed sowing or seedlings. The plant is capable of rapid regrowth after leaf cutting, which ensures the possibility of multiple harvests during the season.
