The plant forms large, slightly wrinkled or crinkled leaves of dark green color with a silvery shade on the underside. A characteristic feature is the robust, fleshy petioles of snow-white or light green color.
The vegetation period ranges from 30–45 to 50–60 days after sowing. The variety possesses cold hardiness, tolerates short-term frosts down to –3°C…–6°C, and has high resistance to premature bolting.
