Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety forms a rosette of heavily crinkled leaves. Distinctive features include fleshy, succulent petioles and central leaf veins colored bright white. The leaves are medium to large in size.

The plant is characterized as fast-growing and winter-hardy, capable of withstanding slightly negative temperatures. The variety is versatile in use: the leaves are used as a spinach substitute, and the petioles are prepared as a standalone product with a taste reminiscent of asparagus.

With spring sowing, harvesting is possible from summer to autumn. With autumn sowing, plants are left to overwinter, with the harvest collected in spring. To ensure continuous growth, it is recommended to harvest only the outer leaves without damaging the central part of the plant.
