The variety is intended for use as an intermediate crop, contributing to the improvement of soil structure, protection against erosion, and nitrogen retention. Due to its well-developed root system, the plant effectively loosens the soil to a significant depth.

A key characteristic of the variety is the high content of glucosinolates, which allows it to be used for the control of soil pathogens, nematodes, and diseases. The plant is also featured in scientific research dedicated to the processes of isothiocyanate degradation and tissue regeneration under laboratory conditions.
